Kanye West's 'American Psycho' Spoof: Bret Easton Ellis Tells Al

Outburst: Kanye West grapples with a photography at LAX before pushing him to the floor aggressively last Friday However investigators from LA Police's Robbery-Homicide Divisiontold TMZ that it was 'extremely unlikely' West would be prosecuted as there was no proof he attempted to take the camera. In the next few days police officers will refer the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office as a felony attempted robbery charge rather than the lesser charge of battery. If, as expected, the charge is dropped then the file will (visit) be passed to the L.A. City Attorney for a possible misdemeanor criminal battery prosecution. His own worst enemy: By attacking the paparazzi Kanye only caused more attention from other snappers on the scene However in that situation West would have the option of a 'civil compromise' - meaning he could pay off the complainant.
Source:

I just got a text one day... it said, 'It's Kanye, do you have time to rap?' And then suddenly my phone rang and someone said, 'Kanye got your number and he wants you to write this promo for Yeezus,' " Ellis told MTV News. "And so we went back and forth on it and he wanted it done, like, that day. So I wrote it very quickly and they shot it two or three days later." The new short clip casts "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star and noted Patrick Bateman lookalike, Scott Disick, in the lead role alongside Kim Kardashian's bestie, Jonathan Cheban (who is in for Jared Leto's character). After a pro-Kanye monologue, "New Slaves" plays in the background as Disick hacks away at Cheban, mirroring a scene from the movie.
Source:

Kanye West 'Will Not Be Charged' Following Alleged Photographer Attack

While it was reported he could face an attempted robbery charge, it has now been confirmed that he is extremely unlikely to face charges. The assault last Friday resulted in the photographer being taken to hospital and although he said he wanted to press charges after claiming the dad-of-one tried to steal his cameria, Kanye appears to be in the clear. Investigators from LA Polices Robbery-Homicide Division told TMZ that it was extremely unlikely West will be prosecuted as there is no proof he tried to rob the camera. Kanye welcomed his first daughter to the world with girlfriend Kim Kardashian in June (Picture: AP) The case is now to be referred to the LA County District Attorneys Office as a felony attempted robbery charge instead of a charge of battery. If the charge is dropped, as TMZ were told was likely, the case will then be given to the LA City Attorney for a misdemeanor criminal battery prosecution, if they see fit.
Source:
